Delivery

The charges required for the carriage of your items will be included in the final total of your shopping basket. The charges are flat rate as standard. This charge is based on delivery within a ten mile radius of our office base, excluding the rest of the UK where additional shipping charges will apply. If your delivery address is outside of the 10 mile radius of our office base, please contact us prior to processing your order so an arrangement for an additional delivery charge can be applied.
We make every effort possible to ensure orders are delivered by the date required but ultimately we cannot guarantee dates and times due to our shipping requirements being outsourced. We cannot guarantee the delivery schedules of these third parties. We do however use couriers and hauliers that we believe to be reliable and expect them to deliver on our behalf as per there estimations.

 

Any variation to web delivery date given will be advised to you by email or telephone. If we are unable to make delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to make a failed delivery charge.
All of our delivery charges are based on the customer being available to accept the goods. This includes, on heavier items, the ability or willingness to manually offload the goods, or having mechanical offloading facilities available (such as a forklift truck). Crane-off or tail-lift facilities may be available on certain orders at an additional cost.
Please note that any order received after midday on a Friday (along with any order received over a weekend) will be processed on a Monday. All of our estimated delivery times are therefore based on a 5 day working week so please bear this in mind when ordering.

 
 

RESTRICTED ACCESS

Our definition of restricted access is as follows:
The courier driver encounters:
Double Yellow Lines, Narrow Lanes, a Red Route, Low Bridges, Width Restricted Roads, Steep Inclines and Declines on the route.
 
Please contact us prior to placing any order if you do not have unrestricted access to see whether arrangements can be made for you. It is likely that in most cases specialist provisions for any such orders will command additional charges from the courier/haulier. It may not be possible in some cases to deliver to an address with restricted access.
We reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery if you have not informed us prior to delivery of any access restrictions.

 
 

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

Please let us know at the time of ordering if you would like to give any specific delivery requests by entering the relevant ‘Special Instructions’ in the box provided.

 
 

MULTIPLE ITEM DELIVERIES

Depending on stock availability, some orders may be split into more than one delivery so you are not kept waiting for those items immediately available resulting in your order consisting of more than one part.
You will be notified each time a part of your order has been dispatched so that you can keep track of your items.
If we become aware of stock difficulties, which will affect delivery timescales, we will let you know by telephone or email.

 
 

ACCEPTING YOUR DELIVERY

PLEASE CHECK YOUR GOODS THOROUGHLY BEFORE ACCEPTING THEM.
Do not accept damaged products. Orders signed for “unchecked” will be deemed to have been received in good condition.
As soon as the order has been delivered to your requested delivery address, the risk of any damage or loss passes to you.
