Here at Over2hills we were asked to collect and recycle over 180 nursery and primary school chairs from our local school Headlands Road. As the chairs were in good condition we put out a call on our social media sites asking for local charities and non profitable organisations to get in touch if they needed donations of chairs.
The interest that we had was amazing and within hours all the chairs had been allocated to local groups!
We would like to say a huge Thank You to all that collected chairs including Cowley Out of School Club, Woodlands Pre School, Oakenshaw Pre School, and Rowley Lane Pre School.
Another consignment of furniture successfully reused rather than going to landfill.
